Initial evaluation for either injury prevention/wellness or acute/chronic injuries performed by a certified athletic trainer (AT). This is the opportunity for patients to share their story and express their goals for care. A thorough history, total body movement and breathing mechanics assessment will be completed to determine plan of care. Guidance on safe dance modifications and return to sport/activity will be provided.

Follow up appointments with certified athletic trainer may consist of but not limited to manual therapies, injury prevention/rehabilitative exercises, taping strategies, and dance / sport modification recommendations as needed.

Certified Athletic Trainer will conduct a movement assessment and manual muscle testing specific to pointe readiness for the young dancer. Specific exercises will be provided to help support a dancer who is looking to prepare for dancing en pointe or those who would like to optimize their current level of pointe readiness.

Athletic training evaluations / follow ups in the comfort of your own home! We bring a treatment table and tools necessary to meet you where you are. Excellent option for families with children who can’t get out of the house due to limited childcare or busy schedules, or if you are newly post-op and are having difficulty getting out. Additional travel fee may apply.

Topics may be customized for dance studios needs. Examples include but are not limited to injury prevention, breathing mechanics, biomechanics within dance, optimizing turnout, warm up/cool down strategies, cross training for dancers, pointe readiness exercises. Pricing depends on length of session and distance traveled. Will work with studio to meet their needs of the students.

Wellness consultations are provided over a secure virtual platform to discuss wellness concerns or for follow up to in person appointments in the event the patient has been exposed to illness or is unable to meet face to face. Excellent option for performing artists who are out of state or traveling. In the event an injury is suspected, guidance on further referral to a local provider will be recommended.

Onsite athletic training coverage for events, practices, rehearsals, and performances are available. Additional advertising on website for organization will be provided.
